I offer counselling because I believe deeply in its transformative potential.

Over the years, I’ve witnessed the incredible changes that occur when people connect more deeply with themselves and step into their own power.

It’s an honour to accompany others on this journey of self-discovery and healing.

I qualified as a counsellor in 2012 with a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling from Strathclyde University. Since then, I’ve gained extensive experience working with children, young people, and adults across a variety of settings, including schools, colleges, counselling agencies, and charities throughout Glasgow and the surrounding areas.

Currently, I run a private practice in Thornliebank and offer in-person, telephone and video counselling.

In addition to my private practice, I spent nine years working in primary schools, managing counselling projects designed to support young children. These projects included one-to-one therapy, group therapy, and whole-class sessions.

I also supervised counsellors on placement and collaborated closely with parents, teachers, and schools to ensure the best possible outcomes for children. Although I no longer work directly in schools, I do offer one-to-one therapy for children under twelve, using a play-based approach that is engaging and effective.

Part of my week is dedicated to working as a counsellor for a charity that provides therapy for individuals who have experienced sexual trauma, including complex trauma resulting from childhood abuse. This work has been both humbling and rewarding, and it continues to deepen my understanding of the profound impact of trauma.

I am also a qualified supervisor and offer supervision to counsellors in various settings. With my extensive experience working therapeutically with primary-aged children, I’m particularly suited to supervise counsellors who work with children.
